Regular servicing keeps your car reliable and helps prevent bigger repairs. You know beforehand what will be done and what it costs.
What we check and do
- Engine oil and oil filter – with oil that matches your engine's specifications
- Air, cabin and fuel filters – according to the schedule or when needed
- Fluids – coolant, brake fluid, screenwash
- Check of brakes, tyres and lights – so you can carry on driving safely
- Reading the fault memories – to spot developing problems in time
- Resetting the service reminder – after the service has been carried out
Why diagnose first?
A fault code or a symptom does not always tell you where the problem really is. That is why we carry out targeted checks first, before replacing anything. We cannot make a definitive diagnosis remotely or over the phone; we can tell you what we are going to check and how we will go about it.
Sound familiar?
- Service reminder on the dashboard
- Oil warning light or topping up oil
- Car still has to go for its technical inspection (keuring)
- Not serviced for a long time
Frequently asked questions
Will I lose my manufacturer's warranty if I don't have my car serviced at the dealer?
Under European rules you may have your car serviced by an independent garage, even during the warranty period, provided the servicing is carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications. Feel free to ask what that means for your car.
How often does my car need a service?
That depends on the make, the engine and how you drive. Most cars have an interval in kilometres as well as in time. Not sure? Give us your make, model and mileage and we will look it up for you.
Can I wait while my car is being serviced?
Contact us beforehand and we will see together what is possible and roughly how long the service will take.
